Rear Door handle Broken, Child Lock ON

Alafu tusipate za WD40?
:D:D

I don’t get how one can spend so much on a car then take it to someone who you doubt.
Personally, I cannot stand a clueless client peeking over my shoulder and questioning why I am not using the procedure he saw on YouTube.
There are some who have been chased away roho safi waende wasumbuane huko.
Of course there are those sensible ones who will hang around and engage you in banter as you work but are respectful enough not to get in your way.
Actually there’s one who has turned out to be the go to guy for matters ECU.

You have a good attitude bro.

Mimi personally i used to work with a guy who owned/co-owned a garage specialising in subarus. He used to actively steal from customers. Alikuwa anatoka nje anapiga simu. He would ask another mech from another garage kama ako na subaru flani…and when the guys agrees anatuma mtu hapo and exchange some parts. It really used to piss me off.

Door handle za Mazda Carol huwa hazivunjiki, na mtu akiweka childlock bila ruhusa yako inakutumia sms inakushow kuna mtu analeta ufala, so unamshow " oya acha ufala, toa hiyo childlock haraka upesi chieth"

That’s really bad.
A mech is a big decision.
I work from my home. My clients have met my wife and my kids and most end up being friends.
If I foul my name I spoil things for everyone.

:D:D

this is why i ask questions and never leave my mots behind. i’m a mech myself, kijuujuu though as i’m self (youtube) taught, and i have seen mechs come to me saying “fanya hivi, hii kitu tutakung’olea utuangushie kitu. source atakuuzia na 4k we leta 1500 tumalizane.” then he told me, “enda umzubaishe”
this was a 2 or so years ago.
granted i got the part at less, BUT, the flip side is I don’t trust them to do the body work on my project.
that one i am taking elsewhere.

Nilikuwa town mpya hiyo time and i had to do such repairs na pia brake pad sio kitu inahitaji specialization.
Ni wangapi unajua wako na diagnostic kit which is basic for someone who calls himself a mechanic.

hahaha you just reminded me, a friend once needed a sensore replacement and the mech akasema aitoe aende kirinyaga road atafute nayo ikiwa sample. and the dude was like neffa effa, na jee akikosa? ama aletewe sensor generic ama ata another faulty one?..ended up importing it by himself!

All they do is take samples and replace them and then continue guessing where else the problem could come from.

A while back when I was experiencing CVT juddering a mechanic was insisting ni engine mounts .I told him I will pay once he fixes and the vibrating is gone.Akatumana mounts and it didn’t work ,so no pay .
Alarm installers ndio sipendi they cut wire ovyo ovyo especially the latest keyless models and they need to have immobilizer option.

The keyless models most already have OEM alarm systems which are better if not as good as aftermarket ones. Installing a new alarm system in them is in redundant.

… immobilizer option.

Most, if not all new OEM keyless entry car fobs in their nature are immobilizer systems

True!

Here is a scenario, you have a self drive keyless Premio and the client hires it for 4 days for some business .On the 3rd and 4th day client amezima simu .How would you immobilise it using the keyless fob ?
The immobilizer scenario i am talking about is activated and deactivated by a GPS tracker.

Also true!

If you are in the car hire business, it is a plausible scenario.

Stupid car wash guys keep engaging the child lock, you only know when you have to get out and open for a passenger
