The idea is to make the police service officers very visible in the public so that everything they do must be transparent. Whether it will be a hit or miss, time will tell.
No more camouflage uniform. Then I’m happy both NPS and KPS have merger administratively and in operations fully without the need of a referendum. I was wondering what the drafters of the constitution thought or whose money they ate to keep them separate. Running a parallel police force was wasteful and uncoordinated. Now KPS will undergo training at NPS facilities which are better and senior officers can regularly go to Kiganjo to refresh and advance their skills.
