Mujamaa, hizi dehydrated jokes zako zinaweza make sense ntv whenever churchill come back on air

Tabu Ley has never done my type of music at all. He is great, yes but he is not just my kind of legend. The only songs I like by him are songs he collabod with other legends kama Ngungi yenye ameimba na Franco. It could be his flow and beat that I don’t like for I happen to love slow motion music more than the fast pace dancing kinda stuff.

I say umeona jokes wapi kwa hizo comments???

Kuria nimekwambia mara mingi uwache bhangi na huskii.

Hehe

You should set some time ,listen and appreciate his music.
Ngungi yes was a great collabo between equals/rivals that’s why they did the duet together.Other than Ngungi, what about Sacramento,Ibeba,Sikilani,Muzina,Maze,Sorozo etc etc.It is him who discovered both Mbilia Bel and Faya Tess!he composed and produced most of this duet’s hits.Mbilia Bel became the African Rhumba queen thanks mostly to Tabu Ley Rocherau.Remember " Nakei Nairobi’ hit ?
Anyway, give his music a try . hahaha

Kwanza hio Maze hunipeleka back in time …

Sacramento is very nice by the way. He is great. He has his whole chapters when the history of Rhumba is told.

Seems we have some kind of telepathy. I also recently observed that Faya Tess has the greatest voice in the world of Rhumba while Madillu is almost the greatest Rhumba musician.

He is the king of sentimental Rhumba ballads. His style was totally different from that of Franco

There ought to be a museum for legendary Rhumba musicians in DRC. Lord knows what African music would be like without the Congolese influence of the 60s-90s.

this is my all time favorite rhumba song i can listen to it all day, by Nana Akumu not mbilia bell vile muafikirianga
