Personally I have never understood the practicality of the slooping roofline, coupe design on any SUV. Its more of a fashion statement really and it sure does split opinions on practicality and aesthetics.
A case example is the BMW X6, some people say its a beauty,others say its an ugly toad.It all depends on individual taste.
