How does UEFA choose which teams will compete in the champions league? Is it about geographical location or what?

Each country is allocated a specific number of teams based on their position in their respective leagues, Like in England top 4 teams qualify for the UCL while teams that are positioned number 5, 6 and 7 take part in Europa. Though some countries are offered fewer slots according to the relative strength or weakness of their leagues.

ame kuuliza kama Gor mahia inaweza cheza UEFA CL wewe unahepa swali , mujibu in the middle east Israel can not play in their CL coz of the arab politics and the jews are many in europe .
