In N. Korea you visit specific places under gaurd. Some cities and places are developed as ideal visitor destinations and are very beautiful. China too has some of the most beautiful cities in the world, but they are usually tourist cities. So you want to believe that that is the whole of North Korea? Someone leaves home to go photograph a city and its outskirts with an objective of countering the western media and you totally buy into it. Everything reported by journalists is should be evaluated.
I agree there is bias in western media concerning their enemies as you would expect. But imagine a place where you cant use internet or mobile phones in this modern day? North Korea is in its own class. Even China is better

there are abt 15,000 nukes on official record. Unoficial ndio mob. This is a scaledown from 70,000+ in the 1980s. most likely thing is that secret stockpiles are much larger today and production facilities are probably at ready. these nukes, like most modern ones, have power in the order of megatons. forget the kilotons at hiroshima. the would destroy the world. at least their world would be destroyed and poisoned. And your world would be up for grabs.

All I’ve seen in that video is a nation with two economies: the royal court economy, and the people’s economy.
The royal court economy eats up over 60% of the nation’s income(foreign currency whose source is heavy arms trade)
The people’s economy is thus underfunded and there’s poverty.
Funny thing is over $600 million is used for “gift politics”, where the leader gives expensive gifts to the members of the public who are notable for their efforts. The gifts buy loyalty for the leader.
Oh! And those beautiful parks and apartments are reserved for the army families and government officials, and people who are chosen for such luxuries because of their devotion to the nation.
Most funds are thus spent on the “gift economy” and military stuff. Arms trade is the nation’s largest source of income.
