Banyore, Maragoli and Tiriki are in Vihiga county ; where Mudavadi and Marende come from. Yeah, it is true that the Banyore smoke too much weed and they are commonly associated with that stereotype.

There are about 17 sub-tribes each with their own unique dialects though most can communicate.
As a matter of fact Bukusus are considered closer to the Bagisu and Baganda of Uganda than the other Luhya sub-tribe. Culture wise and language, you will not differentiate a Bukusu and a Mugisu. Because of their large numbers Bukusus have assimilated the Tachoni, they speak Kibukusu and practice Bukusu culture.
