I like that idea. Very logical
But a redesign should then come with improved driver mentality.
Improved driver mentality, a dual carriage way plus a cheaper train network to reduce traffic on the road will go a long way in solving this issue of road carnage. But hii kitambo serikali ikubali itakuwa miaka. For now fastest way ni taming rogue drivers

My suggestion would be,with the new rollout of DL’s,assuming they are digital,the point system should be introduced for misdemeanors ranging from smoking exhaust,speeding to ‘kipara tyres’.watu washike adabu,ukifanya ushenzi unang’olewa points,once they are done you sit back left and ride as a passenger for a minimum of three years,ukishikwa if your driving while banned,prison term.this will deter morons on the roads

Unless you are talking about another road, the Southern bypass is dual all the way from Ole Sereni to Kikuyu.
