I met this single mother a few months ago during one of my escapades down in the Coast. After only 2 days of knowing her, I kamuad her aggressively while her 3-year-old daughter was sleeping not so far away. My intention was just to hit and run but in the heat of the moment, the single mother told me that she wanted a serious relationship that would lead to marriage. Since I was thinking with my second head, I told her what she wanted to hear so I could get the slices.
Anyway, a lot of empty promises were made and I came back to Nairobi. Now she wants to come to my place and idle around for a month. Of course, I cannot allow that to happen and I’ve been ghosting her for a while. But the problem is she keeps calling me almost every day. She probably thought we will get married and live happily ever after.
It’s very unusual that I get 10 missed calls and a few messages from the same woman on the same day. Don’t women know how to handle rejection? Or are single mothers that desperate for love and affection that they cling to any man that tells them what they want to hear?
