But Dre still reached out to Easy and begged to end the beef at some point if I remember well. These songs remind me that while the west side had the hits and money and the market… the east had the illest lyricists. Dre and Snoop had Knockturnal writing them lyrics at some point.

when Eazy lay dying in hosi Dre showed up to squash the beef. kind of the way you do not want beef with a dead man. but Eazy was too far gone(coma or dead). heard it in a Dre documentary I watched

Takeover was originally meant for Mobb Deep. The Nas verse was added later, making it seem like a weak diss track
