someone must do something urgent about ISIS

The region is still dealing with the mess created by Bush Jr. and his lackeys.

Bush senior started it.refer to desert storm.

Thereā€™s a term I once came across, the ā€˜petrol-dollarā€™ in some documentary whose title I forget. The minute Gadaffi, and Saddam before him, began demanding oil payments in ā‚¬, their stay in power became untenable. Itā€™s instructive that the two countries that led the attacks, the U.S. and UK do not use ā‚¬ as their legal tender and the first order of business of the ā€˜coalition forcesā€™ on landing in Baghdad was to secure the oil ministry even as other offices and ministries were looted and burnt.

That may however not be the full story but it certainly is a major part of it.

Yeah, but the son created a bigger mess that spread beyond Iraqā€™s borders.

WHAT ABOUT IRAQ AND JORODAN???

Iraq is a failed state lakini Jordan inaweza kuwa involved in Syria but not that much compared to Turkey and Saudi who do not like Assad and the Shia/Kurd populations in Iraq. Halafu, Saudi is trying to assert its dominance in the region as the most powerful state but it fears Iranā€™s influence in Yemen, Syria and Iraq where there are considerable Shia populations.

Wacha kutuangusha mblo. Eti Joro what? o_O

To this lethal mix, add the potentially explosive issue of the Kurdi populations straddling Iran, Iraq, Turkey & to a small extent, Syria. Wakiamua ni self-determination expect ā€˜repercussionsā€™.

True. Kwanza Turkey haitaki kusikia hiyo story, ndiyo maana it offers safe passage to new ISIS recruits going to Syria. Thereā€™s also evidence that shows injured Daesh fighters getting treatment in Turkish hospitals that are near the Syrian border. The Middle East is fucked for the next five to ten years.

in all this mess there is someone making some buck who would wish the war to rage a bit more:(:(!!!

Of course. In every conflict thereā€™s millions to be made. Weapons will be sold, natural resources (read oil) mortgaged, not to mentioned even more millions to be made in the post-conflict reconstruction.
