To get those features, acquiring an A/V receiver is the best option. One manufacturer who keeps up with new tech in hifi systems is Sony. Current ones have two USBs, Bluetooth, NFC(rare in other in other hifis) and Digital Audio coaxial output. A/V receivers however have it all. Hometheatres too do keep up. Sony blu-ray Hometheatre systems tend to have all this tech. But A/V receivers are more powerful and come with even 4K pass-through feature especially the current ones. Sony has already integrated Hi-Res audio in its current A/V receivers.
As for soundbars, I think they are not as powerful as A/V receivers, they are also expensive and do not provide proper surround sound compared to A/V receivers and the 5.1 Hometheatres.
