The one move that almost single handedly ensures the pro-independence movement grows stronger. I’m always puzzled how almost every great nation has that one problematic region/ province.
Iraq will have a huge task trying to go up against the Kurdish army or Kurds in general. Remember the gains made against ISIS have largely been due to Kurdish groups’ involvement. The Iraq army ran away from Mosul like little fine ghels when ISIS fired the first bullet.

Iraq was really disappointed by the Kurds independence vote,hadi prime minister anasema the Kurds should surrender the international airports in their region (i wonder how).
The Kurdish referendum will impact massively in Iran,Syria,Armenia n Turkey.
Turkey especially is a risk of another uprising given the turbulent Kurdish history in Turkey.
Already the Iraqi government have closed the Kurdish airspace. Big things are coming…

Reason why China says its non-negotiable. Even when Trump got elected he alluded to the fact that hong kong can be brought on the negotiation table in a wide range of issues from North Korea to Trade agreements but he had to tone down the rhetoric. Hapo China is willing to go to war over Hong Kong.
