@Giggz enlighten me kidogo hapa, For this particular model GTMEDIA V7 PLUS is it a must you use a dish in order to receive channels or you can use a normal antenna(say a startimes antenna) and still receive channels on this device as it happens with the other set-top boxes? If it can’t, do we have one that can work without necessarily using a dish and which one is it?

Yes V7plus can receive local terrestrial channels. But coverage of terrestrial channels differs by location.
