Town driving 7-8km/l

If consumption is an issue to you dont drive anything above 1500cc

Best response ever! I tell my people this always.Kati ya pombe, wanawake na gari I’d rather spend more on gari.A pal I know really criticised my decision to go for a 2.5cc car eti coz of mafuta. He is stuck at 1.5cc boring boring car yet he spends over 5k every weekend which is more than half what I spend the same week as fuel on my car

Get yourself a forester s-edition. 2.5l turbo with more torque than the outback. Consumption is more or less the same, depending on your driving habits.

Fuel consumption depends on many factors, a small engine does not always mean lower fuel consumption. I noticed a 1.5l toyota consume almost the same to 1.8l toyota both vvti driving form nai to nyeri. For long distance driving where you maintain high speed i would recommend a 1.8l to 2l. For daily small distance driving without carrying passengers and heavy stuff a 1.5l is better. Anything above 2l, fuel should be the least of your worries. Ama kama wewe ni wale wazee wa showing off, wenye wako na harrier yenye wanadrive sundays only, or 3km daily.
