Seems not many people have any experience with an Escudo. I own one, and my previous one was the older model Escudo. Never had any problems with these cars. I previously owned an xtrail and these cars are pure shit.
Well i have used a 2008 suzuki maruti Gypsy and that Car is sweet its a good offroader and the fuel economy is good, Go for it if you need something that can handle a muddy rough road na hiyo maneno ya spare because they are available.

Seek other options. Escudo has really poor fuel economy, horrible acceleration and really tedious to drive.
Get a Forester instead. Better resale value
