Yes I know that’s what happened when you did a manual driver install from the acer site, it’s happened to me too. What I’m trying to say to help is visit drp.su it’ll detect your laptop model and deploy all the correct up-to-date drivers automatically. I have same problem, windows 10, I have uninstalled the synaptics whatever driver,works fine ,immediately I connect to wi-fi it re-downloads the driver & then back to mouse touchpad problems…how do I stop, auto updates on windows 10,I can’t find the settings

- double click to open select disable
Before updating drivers it is good to check if the bios is also the latest. Especially Windows 10 on older pcs and laptops.
Asandeni wakubwa. Nili-install another windows 10 again. But touchpad imekufa, resorting to use external mouse. Cheers!!!
