I’m seeing these Telkom Kenya home plans as a godsend because I don’t have any other more affordable alternatives. Plus the signal is alright for me. Where I stay there’s no other reliable Internet provider isipokua Safaricom, and Safaricom is very expensive!

I found the speed to be quite impressive.
Telkon na aircon wanauza data wanajua hutawahi tumia. Ata hio 4G yao ya daily wamemake sure hutatumia. 4G network is non existent.
Hizo charges zao si mbaya sana especially kwa wale wako nje ya Nairobi. What they need to do is to expand the 4G coverage. Also 4k for a 4G router is a lot of money in my view

In the age of Zuku and Safaricom unlimited fiber-based internet, it’s archaic to be offering what essentially is vintage dongle-based access via bundles with complicated per MB pricing.
Telkom is still a lethargic parastatal, 10 years behind technology.
Kama inafika kwa keja na iko strong use it.
Safaricom fibre would be somewhat okay, but it will be years before they get to where I stay.

The game changer will be network availability. From where I’m standing, they’re yet to make a serious attempt at changing this.
