When visiting Western Kenya and you are short of locations to visit on your itinerary, consider the stone hills of Maragoli. On a calm day, you can see the large expanse of Lake Victoria while on the Maragoli Hills Range. Ideal for people who don’t mind hiking and trekking. It’s an hour’s drive from Kisumu City.
Accomodation can be found half an hour drive away at Sosa Cottages, Gisambai, among others.

Iliisha, sai ni shamba la mawe. Ingawa hizo milima ni supuu bado. There are sections that have been re-forested however, with pine. But it was so large that re-foresting all of it would take a lot of effort and time
