No the six lane highway is very necessary. I traveled to Konza last week looking for land, but was very disappointed by the traffic on Nbi-Msa highway. Kwanza hapo Mlolongo all the way to machakos junction, turela za akina Meria are overcrowded and dangerous. That highway needs to be expanded asap to complement SGR.

we don’t even need that 6 lane highway… what for? wacha gava iendelee expansion of A109 pole pole, MSA-Mariakani dual carriageway… hii side ingine Nairobi-Machakos dual carriageway… next year tuongeze another 100km from Mariakani to Voi, na hii side ingine from Machakos to Konza… etc

Honestly we don’t. They only need to do an Eldy highway style on some areas, and then dual carriage in areas with heavy traffic presence. Hii 6 lanes is a waste of mbesha za mchaina (niliskia Trump anaenda kuomba huko:D)
