The economy is on its deathbed my people . Last week I visited carrefour galeria mall on Sunday and I found less than 20 customers with most of them buying not more than ten items with only two cashiers operating. KFC had only two customers being served . Brew bistro tap have given in and are shutting down this month. . Another supermarket along langata road is sounding distress call and may close soon. My close buddy tells me Nearly 200 multinational companies are on the edge and are considering their future in Kenya… Go to tuskys t-mall and you will notice cashiers are busy chatting as there are no customers. A number of apartments in kilimani and lavington are empty. 50% of offices in upperhill are empty with zero prospects of tenants. The 60 and 45 storey projects in upperhill opposite nhif and railways golf club respectively are dead for good. Na bado. Meanwhile team tanga tanga and Kieleweke are busy shouting and informing us the economy will grow by 6% this year. Is the economy growing on steroids and fake gold ?

The same situation in carrefour Sarit centre, was there jana jioni and 3 cashiers operating … and they want to extend underground sijui watauzia nani … saw the same thing … most people buying just bread milk and eggs … like me … Economy ni mbaya aki.
