It has nothing to do with Irish, and everything to do with English. When you read something and a word or phrase is put in quotes then it means just that - it is quoted.
The Oxford English Dictionary is updated every so often and i will have you know that that term did not even exist in any Dictionary just like the words âliked,tagged, emailed,tweeted and pokedâ. They might have,but definitely for the same meanings as we know them for today.
