I bought my first phone nkiwa bom tatu na nliuziwa na jamaa alikuwa form four after kumkopesha ksh2300 akashindwa kulipa.

I was the coolest high schooler once tukifunga. Screen lighting blue and yellow lit keypads seemed coloured to everyone who saw it. Another plus was the absence of the antenna…damn believe it was a slim phone.

Early 2000, there was so much pride in owning that piece. The ring tone was always at max at around 100 decibels. When picking a call which was fast and precise you had to yell and it must be about grand shit not mediocrity. :D:D

hahhah yeah, and those times safaricom was sucking data in a thirsty cow.
downloading video clips would hang at 99% after loading it with Ksh 50 airtime

I inherited a similar phone from big bro, hiyo screen ya blue made one think it was colored

This one brings brings sad memories to me. It was robbed from me at gunpoint and I ended up being shot in the leg after asking the three thugs to give me back the sim card.
