UNLUCKY NUMBER 13

hehehe, hekaya continues
.
.
Ile mbio nilitoka nayo kwa hio keja ni epic, ata nilisahau kuvaa handawea, boss alikua amesema haraka iwezekanavyo nifike Motherland nianze kusaidia kutafta hizo benz, was in such a hurry that ilibidi nichukue taxi (ata nduthi zilikua bado). Kufika huko nilipata my 10 guys wale walikua wamefika na wenye yard wakizungumza in low tones. All efforts to contact the missing guys via phone bore no fruit as walikua wateja and after like half an hour hivi ndipo tulipiga simu Kasa police na wakatuma polisi wawili. The 10 of us were thoroughly grilled for two hrs and it emerged that hizo gari ndio zilikua tail end of our msafara as the last guy kufika Thika rd was our slowest driver na alisema alipita hizo gari between Emali and Sultan Hamud pale majamaa walikua wakitengeza puncture ya gari moja, asked why he didn’t stop to assist too he retorted that being a slow driver alikua anajua hao watampita tu.

The cops started calling stations on the A109 enquiring of reports of any stolen cars and at Kyumbi police station ile iko karibu na mayacos junction tukapata positive response. Our guys were there minus the vehicles. Saa hio hio at around 10pm tukaandamana mpaka huko, we left in a convoy of 4 cars, my 10 drivers, 2 detectives na mwenye yard and his manager. I had a sinking feeling we were being treated as suspects.

Kufika we were allowed to talk to our guys na tukapewa hekaya vile wakiwa ile hari ya kubadilisha puncture kuna pajero ilikuja na 3 guys ikasimama hapo and hijacked them at gunpoint, the guys had then made a call and two container trucks had materialized out of nowhere and the Mercs had malasiad inside. My drivers had then been driven far inside into the bush where they had been released minus their phones, they told of how they had walked on the savannah till they had reached the A109 again na wakaomba lift and reported to the nearest police station which was Kyumbi. To cut the long story short hio siku tulilala hapo kwa OB tukihojiwa na kuandika statement, that is the 10 of us, hao wengine watatu walikua cell, early morning kindu 5 hivi simu ya boss ikaingia, he wanted me in Msa ASAP and without delay mimi huyoo nikajipata airport booking a flight, was lucky nikapata ya saa mbili, my guys too had been told to head back to Msa.

At the airport café I grabbed a quick breakfast coz nilikumbuka ata supper sikua nimeona and soon we were airborne, na hapo ndipo nilijua pilots wa KQ hua shareholders wa hio kampuni, although it’s a short flight (1HR) nilikua nimejiambia eti nitakunywa tusker kaa tano hivi before we landed lakini seatbelts off light ilikuja while we were well over Mtito Andei na ata kabla nimeze ya pili the light came on again, I think pilot aliwasha while we were over Taru na sikuserviwa ingine, manze hehehe, hio flight niliona kaa ilitake 5 minutes. Kufika kwa yard yetu nilikuta nimegojewa kaa lorry ya maji ukambani

Hapa sioni ukijitoa. You look like the main suspect;kukosa kusimama Mtito Andei, kufika kabla ya wengine, kuzima simu, na kuwa shiny eye.
