Did that in my pursuit and avoided stupd agent fees and whatever.
Who asked them to do the work in the first place
Owners of the houses hire them to look for tenants.
This whole housing sector needs regulating. I dont know about viewing fee but siezi lipa. There is a gap for good trustworthy estate agents who dont charge that much. Most of these thugs demand 100% of the first month rent as agency fee. Greed in Kenya iko kila mahali.
Kuna ka ukweli hapa… But in a stagnant housing/commercial space leasing market kuna vile as an owner itabaki u bear the costs and install an on site agent to handle viewing at particular days of the week and at particular hours, these moneys you’ll recoup in rent. Just set up particular days and hours and stick to them. Hii mambo ya kucharge viewing na ni wewe unataka tenant is like asking to be paid money for the ‘privilege’ of being given money continuously :D.
