In one of the previous shows , as biased as he was , he was very loud to tell Larry to shut up and that he is a ‘neutral’ . He went on to interpret the word death in the constitution article 138 (8) b , to mean more than death , that if one was part of a group and left , death would be applicable in the same instance … !!! Clarification ?? Oh no , the big loaf would not and shut everyone else down . He attacks with no facts … attacked Murkomen saying his community were murderers , attacked Larry saying he is not a journalist .

The show has the power to edit out any inflammatory remarks by the guests. Larry kept cutting off Miguna not letting him complete his statements after uttering the words “violence” and “blood”. I think this is very poor on Larry. They should have moderated Miguna and not rudely cut him off and not let him explain himself. And Miguna doesnt really like RAO and has not resold his soul to him. But those deaths are a direct attack on his community and possibly family. Any man with a conscience would react the same way.
The words “violence” or “blood” do not mean much unless the context that they use is clarified. If someone is ushering bloodshed, trust me he will not mince his words. They should have just left Miguna complete his sentences. It is reality he is talking about. And he is right with the facts that there has never been a revolution without both. It doesn’t necessarily mean what he is saying is entirely accurate. But it is a perspective.
Overall all the guests did a good job in their arguments. But one always remember that sychophancy always clouds judgement to different extents.

Watch the whole damn 1.5 hour show before piping in.

I enjoyed listening to Miguna when he was a candidate and he’d talk about corruption in Nairobi, how he’d transform it… And teach some journalists lessons like the Ktn one but now he’s just a loudmouth fool

Apart from the innocent kids who have unfortunately been killed. I think we can both agree that those demondtrations have not peaceful and it is not that Luos are being targeted, it’s that they are the majority of people demonstrating. You can’t attack police and expect them not to retaliate, and you can’t call for revolutions and a call to arms and say blood must spill and then complain when your people are killed. Miguna and company are telling Luos to go and start revolutions yet they are not telling their community why the people of the other principals are not demonstrating or dying.

Political demonstrations will rarely remain peaceful for many reasons. 1. Emotionally and charged atmospheres. 2. They are always infiltrated by the opponent, to dilute their cause. 3. Idlers will always take advantage to further their interests ( loot, rape, etc). 4,5,6…Police should know this beforehand. Using live bullets is not a mechanism for crowd control. No matter how much the crowd agitates the police. They have so many mechanisms and techniques to control a hostile crowd.

You can edit a live show. This has been done for at least 30 years. Technology widely available. He wasn’t let to complete his statements. If you go picking single words from a man’s statement, you can conjure any meaning in what he is saying.

This is actually done in many countries. Yes it is live. Even the live show you are watching naturally has a delay.

@simiyu, from 1995 to date, I have never met a person of your scale of stupidity on line. Shows are delayed to catch bad language or inadvertent pussy shots, not to remove bitter exchanges.

I started this thread because Larry Madowo did something that has been long overdue: discipline Miguna, expose his loudmouth character and his tendency to go personal when corrected.

Hopefully, both will keep their word. Kenya can do with less of this gun-for-hire who suddenly overcame his antipathy to JaKuon.

I feel you bro. you don’t have to beat yourself about it though. we all make bad judgement calls at some time or other. when i called the man a buffoon in the run-up to the elections many may have felt that i did it coz he was not in the party i supported. but one only needed to look at his social media accounts and see how many times hereferred to people’s mothers to realise he wasn’t refined in spite of his education and international exposure…
