Went for lunch. Courtesy of my boss. Tumekula nyama ugali and then we decided to teremsha with tusker moja moja. Boss goes to chat with other business buddies. I was left alone. Bar maid joins me on our seat. She says that a guy raped her last night. But she is blaming herself. She is 24. A guy of similar age as hers has been making advances on her for long. She has been duping him and giving him hopes. Kajamaa has really spent yaani. But she has been duping. So yesterday jamaa kalijipanga. He came, bought food and drinks kama kawa. Actually no sweetheart. If you go through some of my previous posts as far as back as Klist you’ll see me complaining about a pathological sense of entitlement the Kenyan woman has devrloped since the advent of these silly Mexican soaps. I have even seen TV/social media clips where some say the man’s money is theirs but hers is hers. This attitude that a man should pay all date bills even when she brings along her pals. I have trvalled and this is a peculiarly Kenyan epidemic.
