Yeah that would make perfect sense. At purchasing power parity, that 100 bob would go much further in Uganda, and being their natural frame of reference, they might linger on charging direct translations of UShs to KShs; however after a few years or less of experience in Kenya, they probably would get taught “the correct rates”, and enforce them as such.

What are you talking about? I only remember the word hekaya within the context of that “hekaya za abunuwasi” thing, but otherwise, don’t know what you are speaking about.
