When Tragedy Strikes... A sad story from my past.

So sad. I almost dropped a tear. Haidhuru, ilishafanyika. Tujifunze.
I remember how my dad was a strict disciplinarian. However, he used to unleash only 4 canes on your buttocks. It was a standard punishment for everyone and the process was the same: discuss your crime, lie flat on your belly, get 4 painful strokes without moving, get a 3 hours lecture in front of all your siblings. Of course by the 3rd one you are already screaming. It used to happen occasionally; once or twice a year. It wasn’t too lenient nor too severe a punishment but the psychological impact was effective enough to make us more disciplined than most of our neighbours’ kids.
