SACCOs donât usually do what youâre implying here. Day-to-day running of the matatu is solely the ownerâs responsibility.
The alternative arrangement Iâve seen is where management requires crew to give a certain amount (whatever target) by a certain time of the day (say by 3pm). Kutoka hapo hadi masaa ya kufunga kazi watafute pesa yao ya mshahara, ya âboyzâ, ya kiwanja/ kanjĂș na ya mafuta (gari ni full tank daily).
