We have never had a president or a leader in the high office.
When authorities are quiet about corruption, nepotism, favourism, plunder of state resources, injusticial killings and senseless murder. When the voice and the interests of the normal citizen, the weak and the down trodden are stifled in broad daylight when there is a government in place.
On whose interests is that government acting on behalf of?
So coup ilifanye yeye na marafiki zake waibe hadi Kenya ikawa na zero economic growth?

Moi committed so many ills against Kenyans am surprised how people here attempt to cleanse him.
Okay let me rephrase. Moi began as a good person but he had poor governance skills. Even during Kenyatta’s time, there was corruption but good governance. When Moi steeped in, he was allover the country building gabions, planting trees etc but one year down the line, his bad governance skills zikatokelezea. Salaries hazilipwi on time, inefficient government. As expected this change brought about voices of dissident within the country- university students , lecturers ,journalists etc and he had to ‘deal’ with them. This fueled by the insecurity Moi had since the “Kikuyu establishment” which had opposed his rise was still partly strong. This explained where his love of intelligence came from and the need for money since he needed to ‘buy’ support. Guess from there, the monster came out and it was downhill for our country
Actually he was not, it was just a matter of time before his true self came out. What the coup crisis did was bring out his evil side. If he is good christian as he liked to potray himself to be he would have known what he was doing was evil.
if jicho nyanya sustains the war on corruption and puts an actual dent in the monster, he will be the best president this country has ever seen
The only thing Moi had in spades is political skills. He definitely was no technocrat. Kibaki was the exact opposite. If Kibaki had political skills, 2007 should never have happened.
No doubt about it, Kibaki revived and set the economy on course and we give him kudos for that. But its also dangerous to have someone without good political skills at the top and 2007 attests to this.
In my view, Uhunye at this point in our history is probably the best president we have had. He has political skills and he also knows how to run the economy… so far.
