As for strong independent black woman I would call a woman on public assistance living in public housing independent because this are meant for vulnerable people like the elderly and the disabled. Maybe the college educated woman but even that one thatd be because sucessful black men want the white woman because of self hate of their race.
I’m not saying integration was the reason for all the troubles but it was for a long, what they should have fought for was separation and not integration and today they are still begging white people for work and everything and then cry when white people don’t give it to them. During segregration 100 years ago they were atleast on the right route to become self-suffient, they built up their communities instead of counting on white people to build it up for them… Separation would have helped black americans more than integration, they only integrated their economies and became consumers and not producers.
As in like blacks having their own country or their own state? Do you think that would have been allowed by the white man if he could burn down successful black businesses? The white man needs the black man’s slave labor and must as such ensure that the black man never becomes independent. Give him basic education that can only be enough not for him to be self reliant like vocational training in schools that was removed bcz then the black man can be a plumber and employ himself and be in control of his wages. What I am saying is that I don’t deny the faults of the black community but let us no minimize the very real white strategies to ensure the black man remains a slave. Even a black man with a PhD education will be hard pressed to make more than 40 grand a year gross. Institutionalized racism is very real. We cannot deny the pivotal role it has played in making the black man who he is. Even factory jobs are moved away once a neighborhood bcms predominantly black. To produce you need factories, land the factors of production. How can this be attainable with all the systemic constraints in all pivotal areas, education, housing, production stacked against blacks.
If they cant aquare land they can still freely seperate themselves from white people and start building their own, its about the mentality… But right now they are fighting to be accepted by whites, you see this in small things, black people are the only ones who will cry about being denined to spend their money at a racist white restaurant, or that a white person doesn’t want to date them, or that the Oscars(created by white people for white people) doesn’t choose black actors… Blacks in america have integrationist mentality and it hasn’t got them anywhere. The problem is the middle class, these are the ones who refuse to build any buisnesses for their people, these are the ones who will try to force themselves into white people the most when they have the opportunity to build for themselves, they are house negr*es:
It’s a complex situation and there’s no quick fix.
For one, many kids in inner cities don’t have role models. A lot of fathers are in jail and the mother got pregnant at teen age and probably didn’t graduate high school. Many also come from broken families that survive on govt assistance and can’t afford decent meals- you really can’t perform well while hungry. Public schools are ‘free’ but parents have to pay for subsidized meals (in most school districts).
Then there the issue of drugs and gang activity, looking over your shoulder all the time even at school. Very difficult to concentrate with studies under such conditions.
Poor parents also can’t afford for after-school activities. Most schools break between 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. How do you keep kids engaged and out of trouble between then and bedtime? In inner cities, kids will just roam around the streets, engage in immoral activities and the cycle continues.
It’s really hard to fix the education system without fixing the community as well, but many school districts have really tried and are improving, though it may take years to turn them around.
When a group of people hold the factors of production the only thing outsiders can do is look for integration.The only area blacks get great rewards in America is entertainment and sports just like during the slavery era. Whites would elevate black men who could fight,who could play sport or who could sing or entertain them. Even the paltry college scholarships given to blacks are given based on Sports ability not academic performance. @TrumanCapote I hear all of that in regards to institutions making it harder for blacks but again its all about black people coming together and building their own. You said that during segregation 100 years ago it was harder to live as a black person and its easier now but then how come they could build buisnesses back then and not now? The only difference is that back them they were denied integration and were forced to build their own which is why they could build prospering communities such as Black Wall Street. Anything can happen if they come together and try to do whats best for them, its all about coming together for a single goal instead of waiting for white people to one day wake up and decide that they want to play fair with black people.
They could set up businesses then because there was a period after the Jim Crow era and the war for emancipation of slaves and abolitionist period where the white man as an entity had not regrouped because they were even caught by surprise, and caught off guard . There was a vacuum there of white power . Which saw uncoordinated efforts like KKK and white supremacist groups like Aryan Nation. To take back their power. This is kind of how immediately after the end of colonialism African countries have a period where they’re very progressive and prosperous under the legendary panafricanist. Before the colonialists could regroup, make a come back and entrench neocolonialism thru for example coups. Then the colonialist regains the power they lost , to a lesser extent but they make some recovery. Its a similar type of phenomenon.
Btw I am absolutely not saying blacks wait for whites to integrate them theres plenty that do not need white cooperation or integration from whites that can make profound far reaching change . Obama was a black president what did he do for Blacks in America. Just something as simple as putting in place policy the return of vocational/technical training to high schools (that was scrapped during the 60s black power movement agitation- black panther and nation of Islam among others, that were being funded by black to cut off funding ) particularly in inner cities since most blacks dont make it beyond a high school diploma. That alone can enable blacks have technical skills that could mean ability to employ themselves. That would mean that they will not have no choice but either minimum wage jobs or selling drugs .
The second thing is black politicians and lobbyists and public figures ,lobby for a revolving fund for blacks especially for them to be able to acquire property thru non discriminatory lending. There is a current debate on right now on reparations. If funds are availed for reparations , they could go into various such funds. To offer collateral to build factories , to build private schools, to build affordable housing so that families that do not want to raise kids in drug infested ,violence ridden public housing , can be able to have like what poor white folk do where people with similar values have trailer parks.
The problem with this kind of crowd sourcing is that the blacks who are middle class are they themselves struggling financially- theyre struggling to even keep their homes they have paid for because the back taxes are getting higher and higher (its like you buy a house in Kenya for 5M then the taxes to keep that house can be over a period of time over 15M and the 1% wakina Oprah are so few that whatever they can do is just a drop in the ocean. By the way unity of blacks is the most fought aspect by the white man as an entity. During the black power era , it was by infiltrating those institutions thru sell outs. Or assasinating unifying factors like MLK. Now its thru drug trafficking gangs based on turfs or neighbourhoods - bloods,crips, eastside,westside. These guys are armed by the white man (the entity) , how on earth do even kids have sophisticated assault rifles that dont belong to their parents? Consumerism. Colourism. House Nigga Field Nigga hierarchies. However there can be black driven programs to educate youths on how to invest, how to save, how to avoid consumerism. Fill in the Father Gap with mentorship big brother programs. Thing is that its so hard to escape poverty as a black person that once you get out the hood, out the projects. You just feel so lucky that you want to keep as much distance from all that and now be a normal person, like the white man or the other races .
In regards go technicam school yes thats good, thats what they used to teach black people back in the day, skills that they could use to find jobs.
