install a 64 bit operating system. It will work surprisingly cause ive done it before on a similar laptop which a colleague had. Do it and all your problems will be water flowing under the bridge.

Core i3 is a 64bit processor. You mention you have that processor.

In this case install 64bit version of Windows since Core i series supports both 32bit and 64bit applications.
Also, a 32bit OS will not be able to utilize RAM above 4gb so in case you wish to upgrade your RAM for better performance on Windows 10 then you will need to have installed a 64bit OS

Hey guys I have done some digging and I have found out that the laptop actually has a 64bit processor. The windows installed were of a 32bit processor. You were right all along. I have already downloaded another version of Windows and I want to see if it will work.

I dont know if I am stupid or what but the last time I checked there is no way a 64bit program will work on a 32bit laptop.

UPDATE: I have installed another version of Windows 64Bit and it has worked really well without any problems. Thank you guys. It is a previous build 1909. Seems like the latest version is full of bugs.

Hey guys, a few days ago I bought this laptop at a throw away price from a friend. It was running on Windows 7 so I decided to upgrade it to windows 10 which wasnt any successful. So I decided to do a clean installation of windows 10. I downloaded the latest Windows 10 version 20H2 from the Microsoft Website. Apparently after upgrading it brings this blue screen of death all the time. It cant go past this point. Unbeknown to me, this was a 32-bit 5th gen laptop and apparently that occurs to 32bit users only (Not 32bit users only but a number of them). What should I do since I cant go back to Windows 7 (Windows 7 and 8 support ended this year January).

It keeps saying 'SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION THREAD NOT HANDLED".

I have tried looking for a solution on YouTube but it doent work. I cant even boot to safe mode.

Coolest thing I found out this year is that you can run a persistent live OS from a flash drive. And that bugger plows through all system files regardless of permissions.

With this speck ya i3 5th gen… Sone laptops and desktops ob i3 3rd and 2nd gen are happily working with Windows 10 pro 64 bit… your laptop supports 64 bit os. Hiyo 4gb ram is enough for Windows 10 pro versions

Just download the latest official Windows 10 from Microsoft website. Install it it will work just fine. Then activate it with online kmspico or just kmspico after deactivating Windows defender.
After installing the os go to the manufacturers website and look for the latest bios for the laptop, update the bios.
Install driver booster free version don’t go for cracked one.
Update all the drivers… Restart the laptop… Enjoy.
