Talking of Murano. I am starting to have a liking for the 2011 or 2012 model and i can manage to import at around 1.8m. The cream leather interior with two sun roofs.

Any one with a 2011 or 2012 model to give me insights?

X-Trail and Harrier compete in different markets. X-Trail is in the class of a Rav4 i.e. compact crossover. The Harrier is a mid-size cross over like the Murano. So to be fair, harrier should be compared to a Murano. So comparing an X-Trail with a harrier doesnt work. Its like comparing a C-class to an E-class or an E-class to an S-class.

But overall, Toyota are the majority here and in high demand so prices are higher. In a country like Russia its the opposite… there Nissans are in higher demand and they are far more common than toyotas hence the higher prices for Nissans.

true, harrier na offroad is a toxic mix, if one want to do offroad stuff, pajero na prado kwenda juu and if on a budget the escudo should do. Otherwise the other 4X4’s are just optimized for slippery icy roads in the west, and the typical offroad scenario in kenya does not fit that.
