IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati (Jenipher Wachie)
The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has set a date for the repeat presidential election as ordered by the Supreme Court on Friday last week.

According to the electoral commission, the repeat exercise will be carried out on October 17, 2017.

IEBC, however, has stated that only President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga will be on the ballot.

So Matiangi and Magoha call a press conference request IEBC to hold the polls before October 17th because of KCPE/KCSE and 3 hours later Chebukati announces the same date? How daft does this government think Kenyans are?

IEBC is already making the wrong move even after their legal team was seen to be incompetent. They do not have a right to lock out ANYONE,hata Aukot said hata kuwa kwa debe.
