What I find intriguing with such stories is that every story recounts what happened to somebody else, but never has a person come forth and said it happened to them personally.

The accusations actually did evaporate as the very neighbours started accruing some money. The built better houses and bought better cars. So I guess it was just ignorance. As kids, it was tough but we all went to boarding schools far away from home. So we rarely mingled with the village kids.

I can relate to that:Dmajini, kurogwa, ghosts and uchawi are brought about by ignorance and poverty. As a society becomes more educated and umaskini declines these things are easily forgotten.

She was experiencing sleep paralysis. I’ve experienced it countless times. how it feels: It’s like you’re paralyzed or being held down by the evil presence.
