apartment ni shida tupu, your floor is someone roof, your roof is someone else floor and you share walls. rent an apartment, do NOT buy
Hujaelewa chenye huyu anauliza. Huyu anamaanisha mtu ana-own apartment block for renting out to tenants. Basically, swali yake ni what can a landlord do to maximize returns from his or her apartment block isipokuwa rent?

@under23 hapo mimi siwezi kusaidia. Uliza @Motokubwa he owns several flats in dago.

Furnish some units in your apartment block and rent them out online, better still, if you know a travel agent, engage him to rent them out.

Once your apartment is fully occupied, start charging for parking.
You will lose tenants at once. No one will agree to pay for parking when they are already being extorted high parking charges in town or work in a building which provides free parking.
You will be seen as greedy.
Also I do not know any apartment complex where people pay for parking.
Why would anyone be paying rent and paying for parking in Nairobi???
Mombasa you cannot do that when even supermarkets here do not charge for parking at all, leave alone at home and in town it is 100 Bob.

Parts of Karen Freedom Heights, Langata(I think it is work in progress) and Windsor Apartments do have Piped gas. They have those giant LPG cylinders that distribute gas to all the houses and a prepaid meter.
what benefit do tenants get by having piped gas? kuendea gas na mtungi petrol station ni once per month, no inconvenience at all. so kuweka piped gas haisaidii chochote, its not solving any problem.

Yes i was also wondering about this.How do you charge parking where people live? Maybe for non residents if the apartment is in a commercial area, but then the residents will lose that privacy feel
