I’ve downloaded antivirus software to try and address the matter but this hasn’t helped either. I’ve tried using a different device but seems like this phone is already infected and affected. I’ve tried everything including changing SIM cards but nothing. Kwanza state the phone. I don’t think it is the pictured Iphone X that you placed there. Iphone X received iOS 11.3 some days ago and it became once again arguably the fastest phone on Earth. Arguably.
I am not talking about Antutu or even Geekbench since it was already shitting on all the other phones om that.
I mean real world time use.
Iphone X kept being beaten in speed tests by akina OP5 na S9/S8 due to its crappy RAM management. For the first time, android beat iOS 11 on RAM management yet iOS has been kicking Android’s ass with half the RAM present.
But kwa iOS 11.3, they fixed that finally. There is no reloading of apps anymore making it the fastest phone in speedtests in the world.
How is this relevant here? Well, mwenye kuuliza swali anataka kujua kwa nini simu yake imekuwa slow and he added an iPhone X pic. If he means that phone is slow, what phone has he been using then? An iPhone XX au Samsung S30?!

Hakuna virus uko nayo. It is an old phone. You can try and debloat it by disabling all the unnecessary apps and freezing others. Uninstalling apps you don’t use might help too.
The more difficult route is to root that phone and disable and delete all the bloatware thar came with the phone. You can also freeze the non vital system apps.
The best route is after rooting the phone, install a custom rom; preferably the one closest to stock Android. Kwanza S5 niko sure iko na Custom ROMS nyingi sana.
The easiest is to factory reset the phone. The phone will be as good as new. Give it a few months and it will be slow af again. Repeat.
Android phones have a habit of slowing down after sometime. Samsung is worse with the heavy UI that people keep defending that it is very light yet it’s still as heavy as ever!
A lot of Greek in here for me. I’ll concentrate on the part about uninstalling and freezing apps. I don’t have that many apps on my phone so I don’t think that should do it. As for age, the phone is only 6 months old.
