I think in this case it was more of a big man thinking a fragile looking old man could not win a physical battle - but it was just an ego thing, its like you talking to my girl that way, I will show you who is bigger - heck he even left the kid in the store to come fight.

That's the thing. When he showed up and the white guy wasn't backing away that should have told him to watch his steps. For example if the wife was going back n forth arguing with a mhindi and even after I show up he's not backing off I would be extra careful what I do next. Because I know mhindi is cowardly guy.
