When I returned from the US I was in full car propaganda mode, until I realized after running the calculations its 50% cheaper not to have car and rely on public transport. I hire a car when i need it otherwise am car free.
I don’t want to hear anything about taxes, duties and whatever else takes money from me into government.
Someone erroneously added rental income to my PIN and before I realized I have incurred 9 months of penalties for failure to file rental income which I don’t have.
Visiting KRA offices the idiots are of very little help and one stupid woman who must have been on her menses rudely suggested I should pay the 180K penalties.
I left the place so mad I could kill someone but the problem was who to kill.
So long as we have car age limits we will never get value for money. Its better buying a used car in kenya which has already undergone maximum depreciation.
Kenya has become a dumping ground for under 1000 cc’s, which have a lifespan of 3 years,
If those are your reasons then you don’t realize the importance of a car. Mtu kaa mimi ata kama I don’t commute to work on some weekends I get to go home najaza boot na cereals, fruits etc that my parents give me. Imagine doing that with public transport with your luggage on your back na hii jua na vumbi ya Nairobi.
You get to go anywhere you want to with your laptops and not have to worry about leaving it if you put it out of sight si kama wale wanaachanga vitu juu ya viti.
Getting to meetings is easier. Plus people are more likely to trust you with deals if you have a car because we are all looking out for ourselves. Mtu ako na gari ni mtu ako na kakitu most of the time.
Low IQ bonobo detected. Going ocha you can rent a car 2,500+fuel, for security matters piga gym buda hutasumbuliwa hii Nairobi, and for meetings, you think decision makers are busy peeking outside the building waiting to see which car you come in with?
By the way if you come to think, nobody cares what car you drive or if you drive at all for that matter. At least I don’t. Coz you might have a moti and be broke as fuck. A moti should not be used as an indicator or a measure of success…unless you dumb as fuck…watu wamejaa na ma loans coming out of their ears… while some choose to invest their money wisely in appreciating assets…
from that post I just realised he is an alpha male and a genius too…wacha sisi low IQ beta male peasants tupambane na jalopy zetu tu na kuimport zingine
