I contracted TB some 8yrs ago. Went for the HIV test which is part of screening but turned negative.
I lost like 30kg in 2 months. Kupanda just one flight of stairs nahema nikama nimekimbia marathon.
Guys at work ( as I learnt later on) were spreading a rumour that I was positive na nimekataa kukunywa dawa.
One of the older ladies even approached me to counsel me since she was positive and accepted her fate and hoping I accept my “hiv” status.
All in all nilimeza dawa for 6 months and regained all that weight and some more.
Moral of the story is guys ( including your friends) will say things behind your back that will surprise you.
