Was Jesus a Magician?

After being raised a Christian, reading the Bible and the Qur’an, going to school and learning my A B Cs, I somewhat questioned my beliefs.

Now there are many magicians out there doing almost the same miracles Jesus did. Water into wine, walking on water,

The old testament also mentions the magicians of Egypt that turned their rods into snakes.

Could Jesus have been the same? Only that someone decided to input “son of God” in this title?

Could there be only one God on earth or none at all?

Could the creation of a supreme being be the creation of humans to escape reality and somehow have hope in life after death?

If you feel offended, ask yourself, what proof do you have that God is real? Except maybe that you’re made to believe that questioning religion is blasphemy? So we follow blindly with no questions?

Proof he is not real is based on the visual plain fact that He can’t be seen.
Am not saying he ain’t real, am just stating, he might or might not be real. What Jesus did, could have been done by any other magician, right?

And it’s hard to argue with matters of plain belief; “It’s written”, “Faith” “Premonitions”.

“just believe”

I am a believer, plainly because all these things around me must have come from somewhere and somebody is responsible for there existence.
Omnipresent(being everywhere), omnipotent, omniscient(all knowing)…the things around me including the galaxies(phenomenon of great magnitude)must have come from somewhere…thats where my belief about his existence starts…
My uncertainty/contention is where did He come from…if you think so much about it your brains can get worked out

your Post is contradictory since if you believe in magic then you believe in power beyond human capabilities and that’s “gods” realm. By any chance did you mean illusionist?

The bible is just a story somehow …earth a small speck in the universe can’t possibly be that special to have been chosen by its Maker as the planet …the documented accounts must be some story spread to generation and generations just to make us earth dwellers feel special…

this thread was interesting mngeendelea na arguments

watch the documentary ‘’ God’s delusion"

Africans had their own beliefs of a Supreme being before the white Christian version of God was brought to their lives.
