faza island is damn far bt so beautifl kwanza ukienda morning kabsa so that u see the sunrise,with a speed boat u need 2hrs. uko u have to stand @ specific spot kupata network.

Been to Lamu and my experience was wonderful. Anyway, was there before Harakat Mujahideen Shabaab started the attacks. The sunrise in Lamu is something to behold. I found ocean currents in Lamu Island to be very strong.

The passengers had to get off at some point to help pull the bus across a river on a floating wooden bridge. Me and later wifey had hectares of that golden beach to ourselves.

Was on that road on Monday, nikapata tyre burst (hii ilikuwa spare, ya kwanza iliburst Mpeketoni) nearest town was Garsen which was like 45Km away nilisweat mkundu siku hio, maajabu in such a desolate place boma zote zilikuwa za Wakikuyu. Only radio station in that area is a kyuk radio station sijui kama ni Inooro ama Kameme.
