1.Different fertilizers suits different soils depending on the soil PH, nutritional deficiencies…
2.All fertilizers contain filler materials.
3.There is slow release fertilizer which stays for long in the soil.
4. There is easily leached or hygroscopic fertilizer which disappear from the soil within a short time.
5. Some fertilizers contain humus-like substance( organic matter) suitable for specific soils.
Don’t expect big crystals of Phosphate and potash to dissolve in water within 2 days na sio eti ni mawe though they appear like stones to amateurs.
