am following all this very carefully…till 7k and so kilometers when you go for main service…perphaps maintaining myt be alittle bit higher compared to toyota but no sooo high as people usually put it and the reliability too… by now whats really clear from you is that fuel consumption ni mbaya kwa jam… bt highways 10 km per litre is not soo bad… espesially now that you were on sports and racing mode…
I’ve done 1 hr 13 mins back in 07 while working for a parliamentary aspirant. Mind you the Presidents escort does it in 45-50 mins from nairobi-nakuru state HSE.

I’ve not been to kisumu or nyanza but from what I’ve heard from others aint no way you’re driving there in four hours hata na Bugatti Veyron SS driven by the stig and the road is absolutely empty like in a zombie movie. msianze za kanyoka reloaded.

But it is a nice car though. there’s a bmw that was featured on top gear in the Australian outback. the M6 Grand coupe driven by Jeremy Clarkson. I was surprised to see it flooring a Nissan GTR and the Bentley continental in a drag race.

I have done slightly over 1 hour 40 minutes leaving Nakuru just after midnight. That time is doable.

Nakuru under 2 hrs si kitu ngumu sana. Ameandika wapi alienda Kisumu? FYI four hours is very much possible because some areas of Nyanza are not that far as you imagine.

:D:D I knew someone would ask!! I avoid taking photos of it lest some relative recognizes me but your suspicions are spot on. It is some tiny mabati roofed two roomed brick hovel. I reason that it is silly to spend so much in a rural home that has no economic value. Id rather buy a single roomed flat in Nairobi or buy a good car. When I am dead, whatever they say about me wont stick!!:D:D But I intend to build a good house if I can in the near future!
