This knowledge should be communicated to every one. Africans have no idea.

Alikufa? Ama mnaua yeye on the internet .

Very true.

observation

He established the queen bee. One company which was to edge out all the other companies.

One which is delayed for weeks on end ndio aunty wa seattle akuje. One where people rock tee-shats with a picture of your face, a picture you most likely disliked very much on it. One where vijana wa mtaa [gichagi] wanapewa chang’aa matumbo-ugali na sigara wachime shimo. One where everyone throws the dirt and leaves the graveside with their shoes dusty and shit.

That’s a proper burial.

Cremated

What about black hijabs their women wear?

We should have public cemeteries in each county and stop burying people in their homes. Everywhere I walk nowadays just crossing a gravesite.

The other companies failure is more of their own fault, failure to innovate and very poor payout to agents/supplies than Safarocom fault. That how airtel money only exists to receive and send money. Safaricom keeps launching more products and services on Mpesa every year. Some are specific to SMEs, others like pay bill, fuliza etc. Some work, some fail which the competition only complains 24/7.

Conserve moisture,

you are of devil

I can tell you’re a peasant who will never run a company. Endelea kununua bundles za 5mb ukisema ati Safaricom wameiiba.

Umesahau, where local leaders come in large numbers, from the village elder, chief, to the MP or even president and they each give a speech and comment about political issues that you hated when alive.

I remember in one of the KEPSA meetings, Bob Collymore caused laughter when he narrated why he is not liked by politicians. This was just after the boycott Safaricom stunt. He said that was thanks to Michael Joseph advice that he should keep things formal with politicians. So each time they met in social, public and formal engagements the discussion was fine and pleasant. However when the discussion shifted to business or policy he would insist on a formal meeting. Mostly at that time he would give them his card with a direct line to him, only that the line went straight to his office executive secretary bypassing the exchange. That was necessary as she would book a formal appointment with parties either at his office or their office. During the meeting (should it materialize) then Bob would have her take minutes and record it. The key staff on Safaricom will also be present to expound on it and also because he ran the company on team effort. That formal process weeded out talk of political interference, dealings and off record agreements. It also denied anyone a chance to look for ways to interfere with company policy as there was no backdoor. Everything had to follow the guidelines. Secondly he restructured internal and external businesses at Safaricom. Every supplier had to formally register in their database annually by March to qualify to do business with them. In order to do that all companies or individuals had to give full disclosure of their ownership structure, key staff, operations and history details of service/goods delivery in the past with all supporting documents. That way proxy firms or staff can’t use backdoors to deal with the company. All those documents were vetted and verified into a scoreboard that help guide awards of business tenders from Safaricom. Lastly what set him apart from Michael Joseph was supervision. MJ took time to pick key staff, study their performances and deliverables then give them his trust. However some of his key staff would let him down after. So Collymore made it a constant habit to verify everything bottom to top. It didn’t go down well with some staff but overall he was always proven right. Over the years several staff members got caught going against company policy and guidelines. The system was improved, staff got demoted, moved, sacked or charged in court. He also had his failures just as much as success. The Safaricom internet decorder failed severally.

ha ha the corruption that goes on between suppliers and key decision makers in Safcom is staggering, kickbacks and under-hand deals.
the difference is that stuff gets supplied. otherwise kickbacks na bribes bado ziko

:D:D reason why I’d love to be cremated
