  1. I have suspended the new NHIF guideline limiting outpatient visits to only four per year.
  2. The suspension applies immediately
  3. Broader consultations on the matter to be done with a view of developing other innovative ways to deal with fraud and sealing of loopholes in the administration of the life changing NHIF benefits
  4. NHIF is changing how families access and pay for Medicare and we will strive to improve it and bring in more members
  5. Surgeries now covered by NHIF.
